ADVICE FROM YOUR ENGLISH TEACHERS
Always proofread, type, print, and upload your work well in advance of the due date. You never know what technological issues might arise with internet connects or availability of paper, ink, or access to printers. You should always anticipate problems and leave yourself enough time to deal with those problems before your assignment is due. - Ms. Howe
Always review the details of the assignment. What is your purpose for writing? Who will read it? What is required? Is there a rubric? Avoid 1st and 2nd person language (I, me, you, we, us) unless the assignment requires it. Proofread. Get someone else to read it. And, of course, ask your teacher if you need clarification. - Ms. Pedregon
