SSC and ELAC Parent Orientation and Election meeting

All Lancer parents are welcome to attend our SSC and ELAC Parent Orientation and Election Meeting. An overview of SSC and ELAC will be presented and committee membership elections will also take place.

Todos los padres de Lancer son bienvenidos a asistir a nuestra reunión de orientación y elección para padres de SSC y ELAC. Se presentará una descripción general de SSC y ELAC y también se llevarán a cabo elecciones de miembros del comité.

COVID Testing Program/ Programa de Pruebas de COVID

Fulgent Genetics has been approved to implement the COVID-19 testing program. The COVID-19 tests will be performed weekly by PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) with a shallow nasal swab. Testing by PCR is the most effective method for detection for the virus. Schools will receive the results within 24-48 hours. You will be receiving an email from Fulgent Genetics ( to opt into the testing program. You must register your child through the link provided in the email in order to have your student tested.

Las pruebas se realizarán semanalmente por medio de una prueba PCR (Reacción en cadena de polimerasa) con un cotonete nasal poco profundo. La prueba por PCR es el método más eficaz para la detección del virus. Las escuelas recibirán los resultados en un plazo de 24 a 48 horas. Usted recibirá un correo electrónico de Fulgent Genetics ( para optar ser parte del programa de pruebas. Usted tiene que registrar a su estudiante a través del enlace que estará incluido en el correo electrónico para que se le realicen las pruebas a su estudiante.

School Site Council Nominations

We need students to be represented on various important committees on campus, including our School Site Council (SSC)! SSC meets once per month after-school and virtually. The council includes parents, administrators, teachers and support staff coming together to share, discuss and advocate for the needs of our Lancers and their families.
